Terms of Service

Effective date: 27 October 2026

These are the terms for Tabless, a Chrome extension and the service behind it, published by Wix. They are supplemental terms to the Wix Terms of Use: they add what is specific to Tabless and change nothing else. By signing in to Tabless, or by using it, you agree to them.

The short version

  • These terms sit on top of the Wix Terms of Use you accepted when you signed in. They cover Tabless; the Wix Terms of Use cover everything else.
  • Tabless lists tab metadata first, then asks for access to a site it has not already been allowed to read and aggregates what it finds on allowed sites. A row button, a batch you review and confirm, or an automation you set up and confirm can run saved steps on a site, including typing and submitting.
  • Tabless is in early access. Free and Premium allowances and any available prices are shown in the signed-in Tabless web app. Features can change, and the service can be withdrawn.
  • You are responsible for the pages you point Tabless at, and for what you do with the result.

1. These terms and the Wix Terms of Use

Tabless is a Wix Service, and the Wix Terms of Use apply to it. Those terms provide that where a particular Wix Service requires additional terms, those additional terms become part of your agreement with Wix. These are Tabless’ additional terms.

Read them together. The Wix Terms of Use govern anything these terms do not address; where a Tabless-specific matter is addressed in both, these terms prevail. Section 12 lists what the Wix Terms of Use bring with them.

The Wix company you contract with for Tabless is Wix.com, UAB, which publishes it on the Chrome Web Store. Where the Wix Terms of Use name the Wix entity you contract with, for Tabless that is Wix.com, UAB.

2. What Tabless does

Tabless answers questions about pages you already have open. When you ask it to work, it:

  • lists metadata about open tabs across browser windows, including their titles and addresses, without reading their page contents;
  • asks you for site access if Chrome does not already grant it;
  • reads the titles and addresses of the tabs you approve, and converts each page to text inside your browser — what the page shows you, leaving out what it hides from you and what you have typed into its fields, together with the machine-readable description the page publishes about itself. That text can include sensitive information, including anything a page shows you only because you are signed in. The privacy policy describes the capture in full;
  • extracts from that page the rows and columns you asked for; and
  • assembles the result into a page you can read, and save for later.

Tabless can also act on a page after you click a row button or confirm a reviewed batch, or when an automation you set up and confirmed runs, as section 4 and the privacy policy’s section 7 describe. Saved steps can open a page, click controls, type text and submit a message or form using your signed-in session. Row actions replay those steps without an AI call at click time. A build can try opening controls after separate approval for that build, tab and site; a try does not type or submit. Checked record updates show the old and proposed values for approval, check the page again before writing, and read it back to check the outcome. Undo requires another review and can be refused if the record changed. Opening a tab you wove earlier may open a source page in a background tab or use an existing tab, and its tables automatically read current data from those pages.

A tab you wove earlier does not require a new instruction each time it reads its sources. Opening it loads its tables automatically; interacting with it can check whether its source pages are available and signed in, and refreshing a table reads current data again. Changing it sends your new instruction and the saved table description through our service. If you choose to watch a table, changes to a source page’s title can trigger a reread and a desktop notification. This watches that table’s sources; it does not read your browsing history. Tables can also display pictures fetched by your browser directly from the hosts used by their source pages, as the privacy policy describes.

3. Your account

Tabless requires a Wix account. You sign in on Wix’s own login page, in an ordinary browser tab, so the session it creates is your browser’s Wix session and not something the extension keeps apart: signing in to Tabless signs you in to Wix in that browser, and signing out of Tabless clears its credentials and asks our service to revoke its Wix grant, without signing you out of wix.com. Signing in grants Tabless session-bound access to call Wix services as you, including AI allowance and usage services. You are responsible for your Wix account credentials and for everything done through your account, and for who can use the browser you are signed in on. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it.

An account is for one person.

You must be 18 or older to use Tabless.

4. You authorise each run, or the automation that runs it, and you answer for it

When you ask Tabless to work, it first lists tab metadata and asks for any site access it does not already hold. Page content is read only on allowed sites; a tab you wove earlier can reread its approved source pages as section 2 describes. Tabless reads through your own browser session, so it can see whatever you can see while you are signed in — your mail, your bank, your employer’s internal systems.

You must be entitled to access whatever you point Tabless at, and entitled to have its content processed as these terms and the privacy policy describe. That includes material your employer treats as confidential, material you hold under a non-disclosure obligation, and other people’s personal data. If you are not sure, do not point Tabless at it.

Tabless will read a sensitive page if you allow its site. Review each action’s destination, text and values before you click or confirm a batch. You must be entitled to perform that action and submit that information; daily limits do not establish that an action is permitted by the receiving site. Written columns send their selected row inputs to our service and AI provider after you approve filling that column. Preparing a generic record-update recipe can send column and field labels, but not your device-local owned cell contents.

Automations. When you confirm an automation, you give a standing instruction for every run it makes until you pause or delete it, and you answer for those runs as you would if you had clicked each one. You must be entitled to perform each automated action on the receiving site, including where that site’s own terms restrict automated use; daily limits, the first runs that ask for your OK and the kinds of action automations exclude do not establish that an action is permitted. An automation runs only while your browser and its table’s tab are open. Changes can be missed or found late, and we do not promise that any change starts a run, or when. We may pause automations, lower their limits or refuse a kind of action, for example where a site’s terms or signs of abuse require it.

5. Third-party websites

The sites Tabless reads are not ours, and Wix has no relationship with them. They may have their own terms about automated access, and reading a page with Tabless may breach them. That is a matter between you and the site.

You must not use Tabless to:

  • get around an access control, a paywall, a rate limit, a CAPTCHA, or a site’s robots directives;
  • extract content in bulk where the site’s own terms forbid it;
  • collect personal data at scale, whether or not the site forbids it; or
  • do anything on a site that you could not lawfully do there yourself.

Wix is not responsible for the content of the pages you read, for their accuracy, or for how a site responds to being read.

6. AI output

Tabless uses an AI model to produce its results. Model output can be wrong, incomplete, or invented, and it can be wrong while reading perfectly fluently. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.

Do not use Tabless output as the basis of a legal, medical, financial, employment, or safety decision. It is not advice.

A page can contain text written to steer the model — instructions aimed at the AI rather than at you. Tabless instructs the model to treat page content as data and never as instructions, but no defence of this kind is complete. Treat a result drawn from a page you do not trust exactly as you would treat that page.

Your instructions and the results you save are yours. Wix claims no ownership of them, and makes no claim that a result is original or that nobody else will receive a similar one.

7. Price

Your account and the signed-in Tabless pricing page show the Free and Premium AI allowances and any subscription available to you. Before each model step, Tabless checks whether your account has allowance left and reports the tokens used to Wix Premium, including usage from a failed step. A step can spend more than the allowance that remained when it started; subsequent steps check again. When allowance is exhausted, further AI work is refused until allowance is available.

What a plan costs and includes is shown before you buy it. Wix manages checkout and subscriptions. The Your plan page links to billing management for payment details and cancellation. Changes to these terms follow section 13.

Nothing in this section removes the money-back guarantee in the Wix Terms of Use. It reaches a Tabless purchase as it does any other Wix Service, on the terms and within the period stated there.

8. Early access

Tabless is pre-release software offered as early access. There is no availability commitment and no service level agreement. Features may change or be withdrawn, and the service itself may be discontinued.

If we discontinue Tabless, or withdraw a feature you are paying for, we will tell you, and we will not bill you for a period you cannot use.

9. Acceptable use

The Wix Terms of Use set out how you may use Wix Services generally. In addition, and specific to Tabless, you must not:

  • resell or sublicense Tabless, or make it available to anyone outside your account;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise try to derive the source of Tabless, except so far as the law allows;
  • reach the Tabless service other than through the extension as published — the interface between the two is internal, is not documented for your use, and is not an authorisation boundary you may test;
  • probe, load-test, or interfere with the service or with that interface; or
  • use Tabless output to train a model, or to assemble a dataset or build a product that competes with it.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to Tabless if you breach these terms or the Wix Terms of Use, if we have to in order to protect the service or its other users, or if the law requires it. Where the circumstances allow, we will tell you first.

You can stop using Tabless at any time by uninstalling the extension. Anything Tabless saved on your device stays yours, and is removed when you uninstall.

11. Your data

What Tabless does with what it reads — what leaves your browser, who else sees it, and how long anything is kept — is set out in the Tabless Privacy Policy. These terms do not restate it, and nothing here overrides it.

12. What the Wix Terms of Use add

These terms are supplemental, and the Wix Terms of Use supply everything they do not, including:

  • your general obligations as a Wix user (§3 sets the age requirement for Tabless);
  • fees and payment, and the money-back guarantee, which §7 does not displace;
  • the BETA test warning;
  • the disclaimer of warranties and the limitation of liability;
  • your indemnity;
  • events beyond our control;
  • assignment;
  • how that agreement is amended; and
  • governing law, and which courts hear a dispute.

This list names those clauses so that you can find them. It does not paraphrase them and does not change what they say — read them in the Wix Terms of Use. Where a clause there and a clause here cover the same ground, these terms are the more specific and govern for Tabless: §3 sets the age requirement, and §7 describes AI allowances and any subscription offered to you. What §7 does not touch is the money-back guarantee: that reaches a Tabless purchase unchanged.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version, with its effective date, always lives at this address. If a change materially affects your rights or what you pay, we will signal it in the extension or on the Chrome Web Store listing before it takes effect.
